Brand Guidelines

A brand guidelines document your team, your agencies and your printers will actually use, covering logo, colour, type, tone of voice and templates. For growing businesses in Dubai and the UAE that need to look the same everywhere.

Your brand looks right while the designer who created it is in the room. The moment a new agency, a printer or a junior marketer takes over, the logo gets stretched, the colour drifts and the tone of the captions changes week to week. Brand guidelines are how you stop that without checking every file yourself.

We write and design guidelines that people read. Not a hundred page PDF that sits in a shared drive, but a clear document, in print and online, that answers the questions people actually ask: which logo goes here, what colour is this in CMYK, how do we write a headline, where is the template. Every rule comes with a right and a wrong example.

We build websites and stores for restaurants, clinics, real estate and fashion brands in the UAE and India, so we know what developers, printers and social teams need from a guideline and what they ignore. We write for them.

What is included

  • An audit of how your brand is used today, with the inconsistencies we found and why they matter
  • Logo rules: versions, clear space, minimum sizes, backgrounds and the misuses to avoid
  • Colour palette with Pantone, CMYK, RGB and hex values and accessible pairings for text
  • Typography rules for headings, body and captions, in English and Arabic where you need both
  • Tone of voice: how the brand speaks, with before and after examples of real copy
  • Imagery and photography direction, so every shoot and stock pick looks like you
  • Layout principles and grids for print, presentations and social media
  • Ready to use templates: letterhead, presentation deck, social posts and email signature
  • A print ready PDF and an online version your team can search and share by link

How it works

1. Discover

We collect everything the brand has produced recently and sit down with the people who make it. We find out where the brand breaks and who needs the guidelines most.

2. Plan

A contents list agreed with you, the templates that will be included and a fixed price and timeline. If the identity itself needs fixing first, we tell you before we start writing rules around it.

3. Design

We define and refine the rules: the logo system, the palette, the type, the voice. Each section is drafted, shown with real examples and signed off before the next.

4. Build

The document is designed in InDesign and Figma, the templates are built in the tools your team actually uses, and every colour and type value is checked against the master files.

5. Launch and grow

We present the guidelines to your team and your agencies, hand over the files and the online version, and update the document as the brand grows.

We already have a logo. Do we need guidelines?

If more than one person produces material for your brand, yes. Guidelines keep the logo, colour and voice consistent across your website, your social media, your print and your partners, and they save your team from answering the same questions every week.

How long do brand guidelines take?

It depends on how much exists already. A brand with a finished identity and a few templates moves quickly. A brand that needs its palette, type and voice defined from scratch takes longer. The timeline is fixed in the plan before design starts.

Should the guidelines be a PDF or a website?

Both, usually. The PDF is what printers and agencies expect. An online version is easier to keep current and to share by link, and your team is more likely to use it. We can also build the guidelines into your WordPress site as a private page.

Do you write Arabic guidelines?

We write bilingual guidelines covering Arabic typography, right to left layouts and bilingual logo lockups, with the Arabic reviewed by a native reader before publication. If your audience is Arabic first, we structure the whole document that way.

Who writes and designs the guidelines?

Our Dubai team leads the audit, the writing and the tone of voice. Layout and template production are shared with our designers in India. You have one point of contact in Dubai.

How do guidelines fit with your website and film work?

The guidelines become the design tokens for your website, the brief for your photography and film, and the rulebook for your packaging and print. If we deliver those services too, the same team works from the same document.
