Most hacked websites were not targeted. A bot found an old plugin, a weak password or a login page with no limit on attempts, and took the site in minutes. Then the damage starts: spam pages in your search results, customers sent to scam sites, a warning in the browser, your email domain blacklisted, and in the UAE a possible breach of personal data to explain. Recovery costs far more than prevention.
We secure websites the way we build them: assume every input is hostile, give every user the least access they need, and remove everything that does not need to be there. We audit what you have, fix the gaps, add a firewall and monitoring, and stand ready to clean up if anything gets through. Security is the first priority in our own development standard.
We secure WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify sites and the custom applications we build, including sites we did not build, for hotels, clinics, schools and stores.
What is included
- A security audit: software versions, plugins, users, hosting, headers, forms and known vulnerabilities, reported in plain language
- Hardening: security headers, login attempt limits, two factor authentication, no file editing in the dashboard, XML-RPC off, user enumeration hidden
- Web application firewall and bot protection through Cloudflare, tuned so real visitors are not blocked
- HTTPS everywhere with certificates that renew themselves and redirects that leave no gap
- Vulnerability monitoring for every plugin and theme, with patches applied as they are released
- Malware scanning and file integrity monitoring, with alerts to us
- Backups stored off site and tested, so recovery is a restore and not a rebuild
- User and access review: who has admin, who left the company, which API keys still work
- Clean up and recovery if the site is already hacked, including removing search warnings
- A written report and a plan for keeping the site secure every month
How it works
1. Audit
We review the site from outside as an attacker would and from inside as an administrator. Versions, users, plugins, hosting, headers and configuration, with every finding rated by severity.
2. Plan
A fixed scope with price and timeline: what we fix now, what we harden, what we monitor and what we recommend changing in how your team works. Urgent findings are fixed before anything else.
3. Set up
Hardening applied, firewall and HTTPS configured, monitoring and backups in place, access cleaned up. Everything tested so the site still works for customers and editors.
4. Run
Monitoring, patching and scanning every month, with alerts handled by us. If something is found we isolate it, clean it, close the entry point and tell you what happened.
5. Report
A monthly summary of patches applied, threats blocked and findings, plus a fresh audit once a year.
My site has been hacked. Can you fix it?
Yes. We take the site offline or behind the firewall, clean the files and database, close the hole it came through, reset every password and key, and request removal of any search or browser warnings. Then we harden it so it does not happen again.
Is WordPress secure?
WordPress itself is well maintained. The risk is in outdated plugins, weak passwords and poor hosting. A WordPress site with few plugins, updates applied promptly and proper hardening is a hard target.
What about Shopify?
Shopify handles the server, payments and platform security. What remains is your account, your staff access, your apps and your theme code, and those are what we review and secure.
Who does the work?
Our Dubai team runs the audit and the reporting and is your point of contact. Hardening, monitoring and clean up are shared with our engineers, who work to the same security standard we publish for our own builds.
Do you handle personal data and privacy compliance?
We secure the systems that hold personal data and advise on the technical side: encryption, access, retention and consent tools. For the legal side of UAE data protection law we recommend you take advice, and we implement what your advisers require.
Is security included in your maintenance plans?
Yes. Every maintenance plan includes updates, monitoring, login protection and backups. This service goes further with a full audit, firewall tuning, access review and clean up, for sites that need more or have already had a problem.
How long does a security audit take?
A few days for most sites, with urgent findings reported the same day we find them. Hardening and set up usually follow within a week or two.
