Structured Cabling

Network cabling designed, installed, tested and labelled so every desk, access point and camera has a reliable connection for years. For new offices and fit outs in Dubai and the UAE.

Most network problems that look like software are cabling. A loose connector behind a desk, a run that was never tested, a cabinet where nobody can tell which cable goes where. Fixing them later costs far more than doing them properly during the fit out. We design and install structured cabling for offices, clinics, shops and warehouses in Dubai and the UAE so the network is the one thing you never think about.

Structured cabling means every outlet runs back to a patch panel in a cabinet, every cable is tested and labelled, and the whole thing is documented so the next person can understand it. We handle copper and fibre, voice and data, wireless access points, cameras and door access, and we work alongside your fit out contractor so the cabling goes in before the ceilings close.

This service is delivered by Najaha Solutions, our parent company in Al Karama, Dubai, operating since 2020. Our engineers install on site across the UAE and work to the building's and the landlord's rules for access and working hours.

What is included

  • A site survey and a cabling plan showing every outlet, cable route, cabinet and access point location
  • Cat 6 or Cat 6A copper runs to each desk, meeting room, printer, camera and wireless point
  • Fibre backbone between floors or buildings where distance or bandwidth calls for it
  • Floor standing or wall mounted cabinets with patch panels, cable management and power
  • Containment, trunking and conduit installed neatly, with fire stopping where cables cross walls
  • Faceplates, outlets and patch leads fitted and labelled to a scheme that matches the drawings
  • Every link tested with a cable analyser and a report issued for each outlet
  • Switches, Power over Ethernet and wireless access points installed and configured if you want us to
  • Voice cabling and handset points for your phone system
  • As built drawings and a labelled cabinet photo set handed over at completion

How it works

1. Survey

We walk the space with your plans, count outlets per room, find the cabinet location and the cable routes, and check the ceiling, floor and riser access. We also talk to your fit out contractor.

2. Plan

A drawing with every outlet numbered, a bill of materials and a fixed quote. We fit the schedule around the fit out so first fix cabling happens before ceilings and partitions close.

3. Install

Containment first, then cables pulled and dressed into the cabinet, then outlets and patch panels terminated. We keep the site tidy and work to the building's permitted hours.

4. Test

Every link is tested with a cable analyser for length, wiremap and performance. Failures are fixed and retested. You receive a report for every outlet and labelled drawings that match.

5. Support

We add outlets as the office grows, move points when the layout changes and come back whenever you need a cable traced or a cabinet tidied.

Cat 6 or Cat 6A?

Cat 6 is enough for most offices today. Cat 6A costs more but supports higher speeds and newer wireless access points, and it is the sensible choice where the cabling must last the length of a long lease. We recommend by room rather than for the whole building where that saves money.

When should cabling happen during a fit out in Dubai?

As early as possible. Cables and containment go in before ceilings, partitions and flooring are closed. If we are involved at the drawing stage the outlets land where the desks will be, and nothing has to be reopened later.

Do you handle fibre?

Yes. We install fibre between floors, between buildings and to a comms room where distance or bandwidth needs it, terminated and tested with a report for each link.

Can you also install the network equipment?

Yes. We install and configure switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points, and we cable for cameras and door access so the contractors for those systems have a tested point to connect to.

Do you work with our fit out contractor and the building management?

Yes. We coordinate with your contractor on the programme, provide the method statement and drawings the building asks for, and work within the permitted hours and access rules.

Who does the work?

Our own engineers in Al Karama, Dubai, who install on site across the UAE. Our Dubai team manages the project and keeps you and your contractor informed. If the office also needs a phone system or servers, the same team installs those, and any website or app work is engineered by our own team.
