This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. We wrote it to follow the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect
When you send a brief through our form, we collect:
- your name and email address
- your phone number and company name, if you give them
- the service you are interested in, your rough budget and your launch timing, if you give them
- the message you write about your project
We do not ask for anything else. The form has a hidden field that people never see. It catches automated spam and holds no personal data.
When you start filling in the form, we use Google reCAPTCHA to check that a person, not a program, is sending it. reCAPTCHA reads details about your browser and how you use the page, and sends them to Google. Google uses them to tell people from automated spam. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

To stop the form being flooded with spam, we keep a scrambled version of your internet address for one hour. It cannot be turned back into the address, and it is deleted automatically.
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share in that message.
When you send a brief, we also note how you found us: the website or search engine that sent you, the campaign name in the link if there was one, and the first page you saw. This is saved with your brief.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record how you use this website: the pages you view, how you arrived, your rough location (city or region), your device and browser, and actions such as pressing a button or sending a brief. Clarity also records how you scroll and click, with everything typed into forms hidden. Neither tool receives your name, email address, phone number or message. If you do not accept, neither loads.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your brief, to ask follow-up questions and to prepare a plan and a price for you. Our legal basis is that you asked us to do this before entering into a contract with us, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries about our services.
When you send a brief, we email you once to confirm we have it and to say what happens next. We send nothing else unless you reply.
We use analytics only with your agreement, given in the cookie banner, to see which pages help and where visitors get stuck, so we can make the website better. We use how you found us to see which of our marketing works. You can take your agreement back at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you. Signed in staff are never tracked.
How long we keep it
The website keeps a private copy of each brief for 90 days, then deletes it automatically. Only our administrators can see it.
Your brief also reaches us by email. We keep that email for as long as we need it to reply to you. If we go on to work together, we keep project records for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
Google Analytics keeps analytics data for 14 months, then deletes it. Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and its other data for up to 13 months.
Who else handles it
Your brief is sent to our mailbox through our email provider. Our website host stores the website and the 90-day copy. Both act only on our instructions. Google runs the reCAPTCHA check described above, under its own terms. If you accept analytics cookies, Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity) process how you use the website for us. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
We do not use any advertising tools yet. If we start, for example with Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn or TikTok, they will load only if you accept marketing cookies, and our cookies notice will name them first.
Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. Where that happens, we use providers that protect data to a standard the UAE Personal Data Protection Law accepts.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data, where we no longer need to keep it
- stop or limit how we use it
- send your data to you or to another company in a common format
You can also withdraw your agreement at any time, where we rely on it. Write to connect@saysocreative.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.
Cookies
This website sets one cookie of its own, to remember your cookie choice. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies only if you accept analytics cookies. When you start filling in the brief form, Google reCAPTCHA may store a cookie it needs for that security check. Changes to this notice
We will update this notice if the way we handle personal data changes. The date at the bottom shows when it last changed.
