Every business reaches the point where the website needs to do something the template cannot. Quote a price from a dozen variables. Take a booking that checks real availability. Let customers log in and see their orders. Pull stock from the system your warehouse already uses. Plugins get you part of the way and then stop, usually at the part that matters, and most businesses in Dubai have a workaround somewhere that proves it.
We write that part. Custom web development means code written for your business, to a specification you have approved, tested and documented so it keeps working. It sits alongside WordPress or Shopify when that is the right home, or stands on its own when it is not. We keep the custom layer as small as it can be, because every line we write is a line someone has to maintain.
Our Dubai team scopes and manages the work and our engineering team has built ordering, booking and reporting systems for distribution, hospitality and healthcare clients.
What is included
- A written specification that describes what the software does, in plain language, before any code is written
- Integrations with the systems you already run: ERP, CRM, payment gateways, delivery partners, accounting
- Custom features inside WordPress or Shopify, built as plugins or apps rather than hacks in the theme
- Booking, quoting and ordering flows that follow your actual business rules
- Customer accounts, dashboards and self service tools
- APIs that let your website, apps and back office share one set of data
- Automated tests on the parts that handle money, bookings and personal data
- Security review of every input, with escaping, validation and access checks as standard
- Version control, staging environments and a deployment process your next developer can follow
- Documentation and a month of support after launch
How it works
1. Discover
We map the process you want the software to carry: who does what today, where it breaks, and what the system has to talk to.
2. Plan
A specification you can read, with screens, data and rules. A fixed scope with price and timeline. Where something is uncertain, we scope a short proof of concept first instead of guessing.
3. Design
Interface design for every screen, including the error states and the empty states nobody draws. Reviewed on a real phone where customers will use it, and on a desktop where your staff will.
4. Build
Code written to published coding standards, reviewed by a second developer, with automated tests on the critical paths. You see working software every week.
5. Launch and grow
A staged release, monitoring and a month of support. Then a maintenance plan and a backlog of improvements when you want them.
When do I need custom development rather than a plugin?
When a plugin does most of what you need but not the part that matters, when you have tried two or three and none fit, or when the process is unique to your business. We tell you honestly when a plugin is the better answer.
Which languages and frameworks do you use?
PHP and Laravel for most server side work, because they sit naturally beside WordPress and are easy to hire for in the UAE and India. Node.js where real time or JavaScript heavy work calls for it. MySQL or PostgreSQL for data.
Can you integrate with our ERP or accounting system?
Usually, yes. We have connected ordering apps to ERP systems and websites to payment, delivery and CRM platforms. We check the system's API during discovery and tell you what is possible before you commit.
Who owns the code?
You do. Everything we write is delivered in a repository you control, with documentation. There is no lock in and no licence fee for our work.
Who does the development?
Our Dubai team handles discovery, specification and project management and stays your point of contact. Development is shared with our team in Chennai and Coimbatore, which gives you a larger engineering team at a studio's level of attention.
How long does a custom project take?
It depends entirely on scope. A single integration or feature can be a matter of weeks. A customer portal or ordering system is a project of months, released in stages so you get value early. The plan fixes the timeline.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
A month of support is included. After that, a maintenance plan covers updates, monitoring and fixes, with the scope agreed in writing before it starts.
