The challenge
ZUMA, a carpet and interiors house, and Maison des Fleurs, a florist, came together on a campaign that needed a film to match. The subject was cherry blossom, a flower whose appeal is its delicacy and its brief season. The film had to hold that fragility on screen, pair it with ZUMA's interiors without either partner dominating, and run at a length that works for both brands' channels.
What we made
Sayso Creative produced a forty second film shot in Dubai. The blossoms are photographed close and in soft light so their translucence shows, and the styling places them against ZUMA's textures so the two partners share every frame. Movement is slow and graceful throughout: petals, fabric and camera all move at the same gentle pace, which keeps the film feeling like one continuous breath rather than a sequence of shots. The grade is kept soft and pale to protect the blossom's colour. The film was finished for full landscape viewing and sits alongside its companion piece for the same partnership.
The outcome
The film gives both brands a shared piece of content that feels made for them rather than borrowed from stock. It captures a short seasonal moment in a form that can be reused each spring, and its restraint lets the craftsmanship of carpet and flower speak for itself.
