The challenge
National Model CBSE Campus at Karumathampatti, Coimbatore, is a senior secondary school with a broad programme of academics, sport and the arts. Parents choosing a school want to see the facilities, understand the teaching approach and know the school is transparent about its governance. The school also needed a place to publish news, events and admissions information through the year, and to meet the mandatory disclosure requirements of a CBSE school.
What we built
We designed and built the site on WordPress. A Who We Are section covers the school, its governance and the mandatory disclosure page. Academics is laid out in detail: the education programme, teaching methodology, language system, home tasks, projects, evaluation and assessments, recognition and field trips. A Life of Students section covers art, music, dance, sport, faculty and staff, and a portfolio of student work. News and events, a gallery, testimonials and alumni keep the site alive between admissions seasons, and an admission open notice leads to the application. The home page introduces the campus with its smart classrooms, labs and sports facilities, and a sign up in the footer sends updates to families.
The outcome
A parent can judge the school on the things that matter, from the classroom approach to the disclosure documents, and current families have a single place for news and events. The structure gives the school office a clear home for everything it publishes.
