The challenge
Sai Institute in Chennai trains students for careers in hotel management, fashion design, visual communication, bakery, bartending, aviation and more, with international courses and short term options alongside. Prospective students, often fresh from school, need to understand each course, the admission process and where graduates go. The institute needed a website that made choosing and applying straightforward for a sixteen or eighteen year old and their parents.
What we built
We designed and built the site on WordPress with a navigation that follows the student's journey. Courses are listed in full, from hotel management and fashion design to cruise line management, patient care and digital marketing, with online and short term courses grouped separately. An admissions section covers the procedure, scholarships and online payment. Facilities include a campus tour, and a placement section presents the placement cell, alumni and placement activities. The home page summarises the courses on offer, the institute, campus placements, the campus and its affiliations in turn, and a students zone, incubation centre and international relationships round out the picture. Contact details and the campus address, opposite a metro station, sit in the header and footer.

The outcome
A student can find a course, check the admission steps and see where it leads without phoning the office, and the institute has a page for every programme it adds. The site treats a young audience seriously, with information first and decoration second.
