Hobby Sportz Dubai

A remote control car retailer needed a store that helps a beginner and an expert find the right model, in two countries.

The challenge

Hobby Sportz sells remote control cars and trucks in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Its customers range from a parent buying a first car to a hobbyist who builds from a kit, and the products differ in ways that matter: how complete they are out of the box, how fast they go and what terrain they suit. The store needed to make those differences easy to understand and to serve two countries with their own currency and language.

What we built

We designed and built the store with a menu that mirrors how enthusiasts actually choose. Customers shop by completion level, from Ready to Run through Bind and Drive to kits and rollers, by vehicle speed in bands from 35 to beyond 110 kilometres per hour, and by vehicle type such as monster trucks. A country and region selector and a language switch sit in the header so customers in Dubai and Riyadh each see the right edition. A featured products section leads the home page, a cart drawer confirms each item added, and the footer gathers the company pages, policies, newsletter sign up and social channels including YouTube and TikTok, where the hobby lives.

The outcome

A beginner can filter to a ready to run car at a sensible speed in two clicks, and an expert can go straight to kits. The same store serves both countries without duplicate content, and the structure gives the team a clear place for every new model they stock.
