The challenge
Nahaté is an upscale restaurant and lounge with rich Art Deco inspired interiors, and Zuma's design work is central to its identity. A conventional restaurant advert fills the room with people and plates. This one needed to show the venue itself, its atmosphere and its design, and build to a confident reveal of the name.
What we made
Sayso Creative produced a thirty two second luxury style promo shot entirely inside the venue. The camera moves through empty, perfectly styled spaces: gold trimmed ceiling detailing, a striking red round table at the centre of the room, patterned dark carpet underfoot, the live piano bar area and warm ambient lighting throughout. Without guests in frame, every line of the interior reads clearly, and the film's slow movement gives the viewer time to take in the detail. The piece closes on branded reveals of the Nahaté name, so the design carries the story and the brand lands at the end. It was shot in Dubai and finished for landscape viewing.
The outcome
The film presents Nahaté as a destination defined by its design, which is exactly how the venue wants to be known. It gives Zuma a showcase of its hospitality work in use, and it gives the restaurant a piece that works before opening hours, on screens in the venue and across social channels alike.
