The challenge
The business process outsourcing sector in the Philippines hires at scale and at speed, and both sides of that market are underserved by general job boards. Employers need to post roles and review candidates efficiently. Candidates need to present themselves properly and know where their applications stand. Work in BPO needed a portal that served both audiences without making either feel like an afterthought.
What we built
The portal gives employers and job seekers their own profiles and their own views. Employers post roles and review the applications that come in. Candidates build a profile, upload a CV and apply to roles from within the portal, so there is no emailing documents back and forth. Application tracking shows a candidate the status of each application and shows an employer where each candidate sits in the process, which removes the follow up messages that clog recruitment on both sides. The structure keeps the two experiences distinct while drawing on one set of roles and applications, so the data stays consistent.
The outcome
Employers in the sector can run a hiring round from posting to shortlist in one place, and candidates can apply and follow their progress without chasing. For a market built on speed, a portal where both sides can see the same status at the same time is the practical advantage.
